principal, teachers, and teaching assistants are well trained and equipped with
skills and knowledge of Montessori, Singapore, who provides and regularly
monitors our school curriculum, classroom management and school programmes and
activities.We offer Toddler Club, Pre-kindergarten, k1, K2
and K3 for children of ages 1.5 to 6 years old.
Like most International School, RMISPP puts our students first. Unlike most schools however we follow that creed not only in education but in better individual care, recognition of individual abilities and by scaffolding each child’s knowledge step-by-step to suit their personal needs.

What is RMISPP’s Mission?
The mission of RMISPP is to enable its students to develop strategies for the acquisition of the knowledge, skills, and values they will need to participate meaningfully in our globally integrated society. This will be accomplished through a distinctive Montessori approach embodying individualized guidance and support, mixed age grouping, awell trained Montessori teacher, an international curriculum, a well prepared classroom environment, and a complete set of specialized Montessori educational materials that are approved by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).
Our Aims
RMISPP was formed with not only the aim of establishing a high quality Montessori school, but also disseminating information about the Montessori philosophy and educational approach in Cambodia.RMISPP is licensed and managed by Raffles Montessori, Singapore which follows the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori (1870 – 1952). Its aim is to assist in the total development of the child’s social, emotional, intellectual, physical, cultural, and spiritual self. This will allow the child to be better prepared for life, and able to adjust to the changing conditions of the surrounding environment. The Montessori approach to education is child-centered and is based on mutual respect and co-operation.
Our Programs
1. Pre- Kindergarten (age 1.5 to 3 years old)
A child begins the adaptation to the classroom’s prepared environment. The child will be presented lessons for developing skills in concentration, sequencing, attention span, memory skills, auditory and visual discrimination, co-ordination, language and socialization. The first year lays a strong foundation for all academic skills to be presented in the following years.

2. Kindergarten 1 (age 3 to 4 years old)
The child begins working more in-depth with letters and numbers and begins the writing process. The passageway to abstraction begins unfold. The child continues to explore activities that provide a creative learning experience.
3. Kindergarten 2 (age 4 to 5 years old)
With the fruition from the two levels, the child develops reading and writing skills. He/ she become confident and conscious of his/ her own knowledge.
4. Kindergarten 3 (age 5 to 6 years old)
This year the teaching and learning opportunities are based on the current strengths, interests and needs of the children, building learning and knowledge through self-exploration and discovery, encouraging growing independence in all areas. Through discovery and exploration, the progrmme develops a child’s creativity through thinking and problem-solving exercises. He/ she is ready to move to the next level in a primary (elementary) school.
